Welcome to our classic car rental service. Please read these terms carefully before using our services.

Ride Classics is a commercial name belonging to Provence Auto Club SAS. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the rental of classic vehicles from Provence Auto Club (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By booking or driving a vehicle from us, you (“Renter”, “you”, or “your”) agree to these Terms in full.

1. Eligibility

1.1 Age Requirement: You must be at least 25 years old to rent a classic vehicle from us.

1.2 Driving Licence: You must hold a valid, full driver’s licence for at least 5 years. International renters must present an International Driving Permit if required by law.

1.3 Driving History: We reserve the right to decline rentals to individuals with serious driving offences or excessive accident history.

2. Booking & Payment

2.1 Reservation Confirmation: Bookings are confirmed upon payment of the total rental cost.

2.2 Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit from €1000 up to €5000 is required at vehicle collection to cover potential damages, fines, or late returns.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

3.1 Cancellation by Renter:

* More than 30 days before rental: full refund of deposit.

* 15–30 days before rental: 50% refund of deposit.

* Less than 15 days before rental: no refund.

3.2 Cancellation by Company:

We may cancel the booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., mechanical failure) and will provide a full refund or alternative vehicle where possible.

4. Vehicle Use

4.1 Permitted Use:

* The vehicle must be driven only by the named renter(s) in the rental agreement.

* The vehicle may not be used for racing, off-road driving, towing, or commercial purposes.

4.2 Mileage Limit: Rentals include a finite number of kilometers specified on the car booking page. Excess mileage is charged at a rate specified on the car booking page.

4.3 Fuel Policy: Renter must return the car with the same level of fuel than it was at departure. Refueling charges apply otherwise.

5. Condition & Responsibility

5.1 Pre-Rental Inspection: A condition report will be completed before departure. You must note any pre-existing damage.

5.2 Care of Vehicle: You agree to treat the vehicle with the care befitting a valuable classic automobile and follow any usage instructions provided.

5.3 Breakdowns: In the event of a breakdown, you must contact us immediately. Repairs must not be authorised without our consent.

6. Insurance & Liability

6.1 Insurance Coverage: Rental includes a comprehensive insurance covering the rental period.

6.2 Renter’s Liability: You are liable for:

* Damage to the vehicle up to the insurance excess amount.

* Full repair/replacement costs if damage is caused by prohibited use, negligence, or breach of these Terms.

* Traffic fines, toll charges, or penalties incurred during the rental period.

7. Return of Vehicle

7.1 Return Time: The vehicle must be returned at the agreed location, date, and time. Late returns are charged at : 1/2 the daily rental price between 1 hour and 3 hours late, full daily rental price over 3 hours.

7.2 Condition on Return: The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as provided, subject to normal wear and tear.

8. Safety & Conduct

8.1 You must drive in compliance with all road traffic laws.

8.2 No smoking, eating, or drinking inside the vehicle. A 100€ charge may apply.

8.3 Pets are not permitted unless authorized in advance. A 100€ charge may apply.

9. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or failure to provide services due to events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions).

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, and any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nice.
